<p>Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is a State Public Service commission for Tamil Nadu and it will be recruiting the staffs for government of Tamil Nadu. TNPSC conducts examination depending upon the cadre of posts. Group 1 and Group 2 level of exams will be for gazetted officers and Group 3 to Group 8 will range from assistant to attender level cadres. ; ;Now Tamil Nadu Public Service Commision (TNPSC) has notified for Group 4 exam  ;for various posts. Bill Collector : 19 vacancies</li><li>Typist : 1738 vacancies</li><li>Steno – Typist , Grade – III : 242 posts</li><li>Field Surveyor : 06 posts</li><li>Draftsman : 30 posts</li></ol>



<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2013 :</strong></p>



<p><strong>Age:</strong></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>SC/ST:  ;Minimum 18 yrs and Maximum 35 yrs .</li><li>Backward Classes: Minimum 18 yrs and Maximum 32 yrs.</li><li>General Minimum 18 yrs and Maximum 30 yrs.</li></ol>



<p><strong>Educational Qualification :</strong></p>



<p>Candidates must have passed ;<strong>S.S.L.C</strong> ;(10th) Public Examination or should have any of its equivalent with eligibility for Admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies to college courses of studies .  ;For more technical qualifications download the official notification available at the bottom of your page.</p>



<p><strong>Selection Process :</strong> ;Selection will be made on the basis of marks in written Examination.  ;There won’t be any interview. Just pass through this exam and on reservation basis you will get the posting.</p>



<p><strong>Application Fee:</strong> ;After finishing one time registration First 3 application charges are nil and if you are applying more tha 3 times then candidates would be required to pay Rs. 125 ( Rs. 75 as Examination Fee + Rs. 50 as cost of Application ).</p>



<p>Exam Centres: All exam centres are available in Notification. While applying just refer for it. TNPSC do not entertain changing of centres so apply correctly.</p>



<p><strong>How to Apply :</strong> ;Candidates would be required to Apply Only through Online in the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net . Candidates are informed that kindly have valid E-mail ID and Mobile number for completing “One Time ;Registration ” process and candidates should have Scanned image of their photograph ;and Signature while going to fill online application form of TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2013. <p><strong>How to Prepare:</strong></p>



<p>TNPSC Gives importance to Samacheer Kalvi books i.e state board book of Tamil Nadu schools. Read those books thoroughly. Some may ask you to read guides published by publishers like Shakthi and arihant etc but they won’t give you a detailed knowledge instead only shallow knowledge will be obtained and so you can’t answer some reasoning type of questions. Even though unlike Group 1 or Group 2 exams reasoning sort of questions won’t be asked in group 4 exams but the options provided will be very difficult and confusing. So if you have read the text books then it will be easy to answer. Old Tamilnadu State board books will also be good. but prefer samacheer kalvi books as the questions will be directly taken from this books. Read Newspapers regularly and the questions will be fact based like what, who, where, when and so memorize the years, place and names in history and current affairs.</p>
